Tom Schultz
President & CEO

Tom is a serial entrepreneur with broad experience in business leadership and company creation. As CEO he founded and guided several technology companies from concept to liquidity event, including IPO and NASDAQ listing. He also acquired and managed privately held businesses to improve profitability and growth. His most recent startup is a pre-revenue medical products company currently valued at $100 million. Tom also served as a partner at Booz, Allen & Hamilton and was a member of the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard.

John Hodges
Chief Technology Officer

John is responsible for all technical aspects of the company including Product Development, IT and Production.

Actively involved in the Electronics Technology Industry for more than 30 years, John’s experience includes numerous operational and leadership roles in the advanced technology industry. He is a Subject Matter Expert and accomplished development project manager for RF Systems and related technologies with leadership in over 100 projects. He is known for his strong practical knowledge of electromagnetic phenomena, antenna design and communications systems theory. Mr. Hodges has worked as a Principal Engineer with SRI’s Engineering Research and Development Division. John earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel, Class of ’84 and is a member of the I.E.E.E.

Marc Rippen
Chief Sales Officer

Marc is our resident Analytical Chemist responsible for Sales, Application Engineering and Business Development activities of the company. He is also a lead in the company’s government and industry strategic relationship development effort.

Marc is easily one of the top biochemical metrology sales professionals in the US. He has a proven track record in program management, marketing, business development and sales with organizations such as United Technologies, Thermo Electron, and most recently at SRI International where he served as the Director of Engineering for Marine and Space Technologies. He holds Bachelors Degrees in Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology from Florida Atlantic University, A Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and has completed his coursework for a PhD in Engineering and Technology Management at North Central University. He is a former Army Officer (Armor).
